My original work

One of my first forays into horror. A creepy little sci-fi journey that was commissioned for the Extraterrestrial Anthology.

Exceptional twist ending that I was completely surprised (and delighted) by. Explorers of alien planets find indigenous life "challenging". Well written space adventure that nails the art of the short story.

Seriously, this is one of the better surprise endings I've read. Well done!

I enjoyed the story and felt the tension build with each death. But the ending was a punch in the face that made this short story excellent. It's the kind of story that will alter your mood and stay with you long afterwards.

Another one for the Extraterrestrial Anthology. This one was a lot of fun. Dedicated to those who stick to their story no matter what.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Karl Hiaasen of Science Fiction

Very funny (and very silly) first-contact novel. The author has a clear command of character and action, a wicked sense of humour, and a grasp of central Florida red-neck milieu that adds verisimilitude. She pokes gentle fun at the concept of UFOs and "we are not alone" theories, but without demeaning them or preaching. . Left me wanting to read lots more from this author.

If you are a SciFi fan, you will laugh yourself out of orbit over this Classic SciFi-style story with its references and crazy humor. And if you aren't a SciFi fan, you will still laugh yourself silly. Absolutely one of the funniest stories I've ever read, and that scene toward the end...priceless!

For daughters who've lost mothers, sisters with a grudge, and little old ladies in casinos everywhere.  I am thrilled to have a review from one of my favorite authors, Laurence Shames

In the early pages of this hilariously twisted tale, I really wasn't sure if I was reading fiction or memoir. I mean this as high praise--the details were so precise, the characters so economically etched, that I figured they were drawn from real life. Later, as the story got weirder, I found myself really hoping it was fiction--because if it wasn't, then Linda Hull was in need of immediate professional help! One thing that Ms. Hull does not need help with, is being funny. She's a remarkably shrewd and unsparing observer who finds both laughs and truth in bleakness. I will never eat at a Las Vegas buffet again! And I found myself oddly grateful that my own Mom had chosen interment, thereby sparing us the preposterous dilemma of what to do with the ashes.

This sort of happened. Inspired by true events, none of which are on my permanent record. The cover was designed by a good friend, Sonya Snell.

This is a story inspired by moving. Moving from the house I grew up in, helping my parents move, going through all of the stuff we take or choose to leave behind.

A collections of stories and essays that were begging to get out there.
